Government Project (US Air Force Academy)
A year ago, Casco Construction supported my company with a $1.5 M upgrade to the fueling facilities including aviation and ground fueling facilities at the U.S. Air Force Academy . Led by owner Mike Casimiro, the Casco construction crew completed pavement demolition, excavations and installation of new spread and drilled pier footings to support four large protective canopies, and are continuing with completion of a 2,800 square foot drive-in/drive-out offloading containment this summer. This project involved a demanding project schedule and even more demanding clients. Throughout the entire project, Mike and his team worked tirelessly to meet the schedule demands without compromising the quality workmanship for which he was hired in the first place. Mike Casimiro and the CASCO team completed an amazing upgrade to our home this summer and we highly recommend them for any home renovation project. Our new sunroom, deck, and gated front patio are fantastic and have pleasantly improved our quality of life. We cannot say enough about the professionalism, expert quality of work, and attention to detail demonstrated by the CASCO construction crew. The project consisted of enclosing an existing covered porch as a sunroom, adding a new deck to the enclosed sunroom, and creating a walled patio with a stamped concrete surface and custom gate in front of our house. The results exceed our expectations, and we are incredibly pleased with our new spaces.
Many thanks to Mike, Alex, Tim, Seth, Cole, Johnathan, and the many skilled vendors who added their expertise. Before swinging the first hammer, Mike and the team took the time up front to understand exactly what we were after and we went back and forth through the details until we had a common vision of exactly how it would be. As the project was underway, we continuously assessed the progress together and adjusted the details to make it perfect. For example, one Saturday before ordering the large picture windows, Alex and Seth spent part of the day with us putting up and adjusting prototype window frames to show us the proposed window height and get it exactly right to maximize the view while preserving privacy. This was a critical aspect of the project to us and they took it to heart and made it right. The windows turned out perfect. The sunroom is now a snug, quiet, comfortable refuge that looks across the front range with French doors that open to a cozy deck - just what we wanted.
The new front patio with the stamped concrete base, new stucco walls, and striking custom steel gate is a welcome addition and a fun area to hang out with family and friends around the firepit.
CASCO was not the least expensive of the offers we received but were clearly the best and worth it to achieve such impressive results. The new additions look like they were part of the original house. I would not hesitate to contract with them again for any future projects.- Steve D.
Casco construction built our home 4 years ago. Many people who have built homes told us it was the worst year of their lives. To the contrary, it was one of the best years of our lives! Working with Mike Casimiro and his team, including foreman Alex Du Fur was a pleasure. Were there any complications? Of course - building a house is an extremely complicated project with lots of moving parts. But Mike is the most honest contractor we have ever encountered. Together, we worked through the complications and came up with equitable solutions. Mike always had our best interests at heart, and still does. A big complaint many of our friends have with their builders is that once they move in, they can never get a response to their "punch lists," and their builder disappears. Not Casco.. Recently, at his own expense he replaced a section of concrete on our driveway that had badly cracked a while back. His prude in his product just couldn't bear letting anyone see those cracks. Casco Construction is a rare find, and we are grateful we chose them to build our home!

Mike Simpson was our project manager for our basement remodel. He and his team were very professional and finished the project by the date we requested to have it completed.
